LOL professionals form a super team to win international awards-Europe has failed

European League of Legends (E2) team G2 Esports this year relies on one of the best advertisers in its league to strengthen its strength. They want to attack internationally and win the game. But now, they have failed due to European competition, and European competition heralds the end of an era.

What happened? As part of the 2021 spring play-off, the G2 e-sports team met rival Rogue on April 10. Both teams have lost to the same team: MAD Lions, both in the so-called underdog camp.

Whoever wins the duel between G2 and Rogue will enter the final and meet the MAD Lions again. The other team will be eliminated as third place.
G2 Esports became a favorite in the game. After all, they have finished the regular spring season first place, beating Rogue twice in the process. But the result is different.

G2 looked like a winner at first.
This is how G2 eSports flew out of the playoffs: the first game went on as many fans expected:
The rogue built up a lot of pressure from the beginning and gained the first blood and dragons. The decisive factor is the performance of Jungler Inspired, who is more agile and effective than Jankos in G2.
The G2 e-sports team retreats, farms, and waits for large teams to fight.
When these team struggles appeared in the middle and late stages of the game, despite being behind in the first 20 minutes, G2 still dominated and won.

At the beginning of the second game, even if Rogue could destroy more towers, G2 Esports still improved it a bit while leading slightly with a 3-1 lethality.

But in the jack of all trades, Rogue managed to divide G2 eSports into smaller groups and beat them. The European super teams lack a front line, and their only tank is the Blitz, Mickie's supporter. The other team members were very offensive but still did not kill Odom as quickly as Renickton.

In an exciting battle with the dragon, the player Rekkles managed to steal the dragon, but Rogue won the team battle and infiltrated the base directly. They won the second game, so it equals 1:1.

On the other hand, the third game was dominated by Rogue from the beginning. In the first 20 minutes, they could not get a big lead, but they achieved a clear victory in the game. Here, the jungle of "Inspired" also played an important role, and Trimble, a supporter of Rell, also performed well.

In the finals, the hooligans always managed to counter the attacks of G2 perfectly:
At 14:30 minutes, G2 successfully defeated Gene AD-Carry 3-1. But for this, they had to go under the tower and lost a lot of lives.

The rogue responded to this and quickly turned it into 4v5, and they were full of health.

At the end of the battle, Rogue managed to kill four players in G2 but only lost 2 in the process. A great victory.

There have been such battles around Herold before and immediately after 16:30 in the top lane. After just 17 minutes, Rogue was ahead of nearly 5,000 gold coins, which they couldn't take away.

Super teams can't win Europe.
What is so special about failure? In recent years, G2 eSports has dominated the European League. In 2019 and 2020, they both won the playoffs and convinced them internationally:
In 2019, they won the Mid-Season Invitational (the first major international competition of the year) and ranked second globally.
In 2020, MSI withdrew from the competition, but they won an excellent third/fourth place on the World Tour.

The goal in 2021 is obviously to win more international championships. For this reason, they purchased AD-Carry Martin "Rekkles" Larsson from direct competitor Fnatic before the start of the season. He is considered one of the most potent AD vehicles ever and was announced as the MVP in this season's Spring Split.

Rekkles has been working at Fnatic since 2015 and has won first place in competitions in the region many times. But he could not win the championship internationally. That is what should change. However, due to the loss to Rogue, G2 is now not eligible for MSI.

The next chance to win an international championship is only in the autumn of the world.
The first European final without Fnatic or G2: Fnatic failed without Rekkles, and a new Midlaner Nisqy appeared in the opening game of the playoffs with Schalke 04. From 2013 to 2016, they dominated the LoL in Europe and then dominated again in 2018. 2016, 2017, and the last two years once again dominated the G2 e-sports.

Since the establishment of the European League in 2013, one of the two teams has been in the playoff finals. However, by 2021, it will be Rogue and MAD Lions.

Does G2 lack the driver Perkz? From 2015 to 2020, Croatian Luka became part of G2 Esports. He initially occupied the middle lane, but when Campus was signed as the new middle lane, he had to switch to the AD carry position.

Perkz is the record holder for the regional title. He was able to protect 8 of them. At the beginning of the season, he moved to the Cloud9 team in the United States for $5 million. There he won the spring championship and is now entering the playoff finals. So he can jump into the Mid-Season Invitational.
