In Diablo 4, Storm of the Wilds is a consumable item that temporarily increases Lightning, Cold, and Poison Resistances. 

Getting Storm of the Wilds

Storm of the Wilds can be obtained in various ways; this includes:

Defeat powerful foes: Enemy or boss drops may bring this consumable item to you.

Find Storm of the Wilds: Open treasure chests and explore game world.

Look at some merchants' inventories: Keep an eye for such items because it might appear in some trader's inventory.

Using, and Effects

When near other players, Storm of the Wilds raises lightning, cold and poison resistances by 12% per player.

This buff lasts for 20 minutes and raises your resistance as well as all nearby allies against these types of elemental damage.

Managing & Assigning Consumables

Here are steps to manage or assign consumables like Storm of the Wilds:

Access Character Menu: Press the key corresponding to open Character Menu.

Navigate to Consumables under Inventory: Go through inventory interface until you locate Consumables section

Search storm of wilds: Locate it under quick item slots in your inventory

Once equipped in any quick item slot, which can be done while playing;

Steps on using a consumable from quick item slots:

Press corresponding key/button: Use key/button related to above slot where storm is assigned.

This activates storm providing higher resistances to you and those near enough.

Notes & Tips

Max number held per slot: The maximum number that one slot can carry will depend on specific cases. For values refer either to item description or inventory interface.

Type I Incense limitation: Remember that only one Incense type I can be activated at a time. When there is another incense active, if you use storm of wilds it will displace it.
