First steps in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
You should know that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a very complete tutorial.
You can deactivate them and/or skip most of you through dialogues, but I recommend that you do not do it.
The Next Gen version has a couple of new tutorials that you may want to see.
This publication serves as a complement to Semi’s teachings.
Steel and silver sword, choose well
If you want a more immersive experience in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, visit the settings before starting and deactivates the automatic delays of swords.
It happens that each sword, steel and silver, serves a task: kill humans and monsters respectively.
It does not cost much to differentiate them and the automatic subjecting takes away a learning process that culminates with a few very satisfactory seconds: to unsheathe the right sword for each situation.
Look at the form of the guardians and the handles to differentiate them.
Identifying the enemy and choosing the weapon correctly is something very immersive and that gives a taste when it is good… but it implies making mistakes sometimes at the beginning and/or when you change swords.
Potions, oils, bombs and consumables… Use them!
The creation of objects is one of the most important parts of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Collect plants and other raw materials as long as you can elaborate objects that help you during fighting and in other extreme situations.
Signals: Quick launch, what are they and what do they do
The signals is the magic that the sorcerers perform.
It is a minor magic form, so to speak.
Gerald de Rivia has a total of 5, all unlocked from the beginning of the game.
As you advance, you can improve and prolong its effects with skill points and mutagens.
Enemies also have weaknesses to certain signals.
Like the potions, oils and more, the signals have a practical utility.
The more you know these profits, the better you will dominate the fighting.
Bestiary and preparations
The sorcerers are famous for their effectiveness.
His domain of the swords is surprising, but it is only the tip of the iceberg.
The true power of a sorcerer lies in his knowledge and preparation.
The bestiary is an inexhaustible source of information about your enemies, it contains:
The difference between a good and bad sorcerer is in its ability to identify enemies.
Just as you should know what sword we will draw, you must also remember the weaknesses of the enemy you have in front.
You can complete the game in the easiest ways without attending to these details, but it will not be so in the highest difficulties.
Take your time to inform you about your enemy, spend time to alchemy and sharpen your leaves.
At least, you will save combat time.
Think that the time you dedicate to preparation is time that you do not spend dying.
When you make very elaborate preparations, remember to make a manual save to reappear after dying with everything.
Finally, learn to choose your battles.
The world of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is very large, and you will not always be prepared to face the challenges.
Knowing how to prepare and choose your battles is essential in this game.
