• No more 30% bonus damage for Raptor Strike while dual wielding identical weapons.
• However expect around 10-12% drop in DPS; after all what is life without variety!

 

Normalization of Raptor Strike:

• The damage of Raptor Strike is now unaffected by weapon speed.
• Normalized at 2.4 attack speed: Daggers take a hit while other one-handers benefit.

Leatherworking Trumps All:

• Get yourself the Glowing Neuro-Link Cowl as it is epic gear.

 

Enchanting or Engineering?

• Enchanting single-target with Enchanted Sigil of Innovation.
• Engineering tops overall damage output due to better bombs and gadgets.

 

↖ Gearing Up for Glory

• Helm: Glowing NeuroLink Cowl (leatherworking) or Marksman Scope Visor as an alternative;
• Neck: Neron Peace Officer's Torque;
• Shoulders: Trogg Slayer Pauldrons;
• Cloak: Prototype Parachute Cloak – don't forget to jump in style!;
• Chest: Blaze Wind Breastplate or Tier Chest for a slight DPS edge;

Cat vs Wind Serpent:

• Cats have slightly higher DPS at 2.0 attack speed.
• Wind serpents excel in short ranged lightning breath encounters.

 

↖ Master Your Rotation

Priority System:

• Raptor Strike – always first.
• Flanking Strike – unload upon readiness.
• Carve – if you are rocking Lone Wolf build.
• Multi-Shot – weave it in for multi-target mayhem.
• Wing Clip – this can trigger Windfury Totem procs!

 

Pro Tips:

• Keep off oils or stones on your main hand to keep those Windfury Totem procs flowing freely.
• However, shadow oil on the offhand has a minor advantage but sharpening stone can do for a low budget.
