Welcome to the guide on farming Jade Runestones in Guild Wars 2. Jade Runestones are currently selling for around 1 gold each on the Trading Post, and earlier today they were even reaching 2 gold each. This guide will teach you how to farm Jade Runestones and make some gold in the process.

 

 

First, you can start by logging in to one of your Alts and parking them at the end of the Kaineng Jumping Puzzle. Although this trick has been nerfed, you can still open the chest once per account per day.

 

Next, you'll want to waypoint to Echo Falls where you can find a few chests that guarantee Jade Runestones. Elite mobs are guarding these chests, but there are usually enough people doing this run that it shouldn't be too difficult. If you plan to do this farm every day, it's recommended that you get the Crypt Seeker achievement, as this chest requires it.

 

From Echo Falls, head to Tulare Village and use sky skills to get to a Jade Runestone chest located above the village. Defeat the elite guarding the chest and loot it. Next, head to the Frozen Sea waypoints in the south of Dragon's End and make your way to Silent Surf. Here, you'll find another mini-dungeon with a few combat challenges and puzzles. Solve the puzzles to make your way to the end and loot the Amber Runestone chest.

 

From Silent Surf, waypoint to the Village waypoint in Salting Province and make your way to Zenday Jun. Here, you'll find a mini-dungeon known as Energy Temple. You'll have to navigate a maze and activate totems to get the buffs needed to defeat three bosses. When you kill all three bosses, a ray of light will appear and teleport you to the secret loot room. Here, you'll find free chests that each give a Jade Runestone.

 

Finally, make your way to the Shrine of Reverance PoI and begin the jumping puzzle. Grab a torch and light all the braziers to make your way to the end and loot the Jade Runestone chest.

 

By completing this run, you should have at least 14 Jade Runestones. Selling these on the Trading Post should get you around 13.5 gold. You can also choose to save your Jade Runestones for crafting legendary items or for legendary variants. Doing this run with friends will make it much faster, and using the helpful maps online can make the Energy Temple mini-dungeon much easier.
