It looks like New World players have some exciting news in store for them! The long-awaited Territory Influence update has been pushed back to the Fall New World patch. This means that the current Territory Control system will remain in place for now, but players should keep an eye out for any potential changes in the future.

 

 

In the New World summer patch, players will have access to two new raids: a Sand Worm Elite Trial and a Seasonal Trial. The Sand Worm Elite Trial is rumored to be a 20-man raid, while the Seasonal Trial will be a smaller 10-man raid. It is unclear if the Seasonal Trial will be available after the season ends.

 

Also coming in the summer patch is a new Heart Room, but it will not be tied to any of the five-man expeditions. It is possible that the Heart Room will be behind the Sand Worm Elite Trial, although this has not been confirmed. This suggests that players may be able to acquire Heart Runes from other sources besides expeditions.

 

The expansion patch is scheduled for the Fall, and it looks like it will feature a zone transformed - a major rework of a zone. It is unclear which zone will be transformed, but it is likely to be a major overhaul. In addition, mounts will be added to the game, which could potentially change how players move across the map. Unfortunately, only one weapon is scheduled for expansion, and it is expected to be a focus-based weapon.

 

Lastly, the expansion will also include an increase in gear score, but no level increase. This means that players' current gear may still be usable, though this has yet to be confirmed. More details on the expansion will likely be released at the Summer Games Expo, so players should stay tuned!
