One of the most sought-after features in the game is the ability to get a flying mount. But how do you get one? In this guide, Marisa will be walking you through the steps required to get your first flying mount in Guild Wars 2. The achievement you'll need to complete is called Open Skies  and it's broken down into five sections: The Desolation, The Riverlands, The Desert Highlands, Crystal Oasis, and The Domain of Abbadon.

The first part of the process involves catching eggs. This can be challenging at times, but it's not too difficult. Once you've collected all the eggs, you'll need to complete some group events. These are a lot of fun and you'll get to fight huge bosses with some pretty cool dialogue. Some of the events can be a bit tedious, but that's to be expected.

After that, you'll need to complete some normal quests. These require you to buy items that cost 25 gold each. That adds up to 250 GW2 gold in total.

Once you've done all that, it's time to go back to the beginning and place all the eggs and trinkets you've collected at the Spear Marshall. Then, you'll need to complete the Open Skies Sunspear Wisdom achievement. This involves heading to the Tomb of the Primeval King to fight elite enemies for their keys to unlock chests, to get the writings from within the chests.

Finally, you'll have to fight a boss and once you do, you'll unlock your first flying mount!

Overall, getting a flying mount in Guild Wars 2 can be a lot of fun, but it does require some dedication and time. If you're up for the challenge, then take the plunge and get your first flying mount in Guild Wars 2.
