New World Season Pass Exclusive Rewards Guildes

The Forging Aeternum update for New World has introduced a new season pass system that has been causing a stir among players. The season pass includes both free and premium tiers, with a new reward track system. The premium tier offers exclusive rewards such as gear set slots, seasonal skins, New World Coins and other cosmetics.

However, what has really caught players' attention is the head start pass, which can be purchased for 20,000 marks of fortune. This pass gives players a significant boost of 20 levels to their current level, enabling them to unlock all of the premium and free rewards up to that level. For instance, if a player is at level 40 and buys the head start pass, they will be instantly propelled to level 60.

Players can purchase the head start pass even before the season begins, allowing them to gain an advantage over others. Moreover, they can buy individual levels for 1,000 marks of fortune, potentially reaching level 100 on the first day of the season. This, however, has raised concerns about whether the head start pass is a form of pay-to-win.

Players who don't purchase the head start pass can still level up using the journey and activity card, as well as completing quests and participating in seasonal events to earn season pass XP. However, those who do purchase the head start pass will progress faster than those who play for free.

At the end of the season, many of the season pass rewards will no longer be available. Nevertheless, players who have achieved their level before the season's end will still receive their rewards.

Although the head start pass is an excellent way to get ahead, it is important to be aware of its potential drawbacks. While the rewards from the season pass are mostly cosmetic, some may argue that it is possible to obtain better gear through them, but it is not guaranteed. Therefore, the head start pass should be used with caution.
