↖ The Naga Mob Farming Expedition
Our Gold-making journey starts from south of Humber's Helm Farm on sun-drenched South Beaches in Hillsbrad. Here, let's face the Daggerspine Naga who are there with ripe loot for taking. Focus on two types – Shore Stalker and Screamer. These are level 28-30 mobs that drop valuable items like Fish Oils and Thick Shell Clams along with an occasional level 25 green item and a chance for a rare find such as Stoll Bane's Leggings.
↖ Why Farm These Mobs?
Fish Oil is a vital recipe component used for making runes required by classes such as Paladins, Warriors, and Priests. The Thick Shell Clams provide a mini-game of RNG that can reward players with Iridescent Pearls—hot commodities at auction house for crafters making Spider Silk Boots.
↖ The Clam Opening Strategy
To keep it interesting while grinding, save up those clams and open them every half hour just so you can possibly have that dopamine rush of getting a pearl. Expect around 750 clams from 200 mobs which when opened offers some pearls and other stuffs.
↖ Boost Your Efficiency
Increase your gold per hour by:
- Taking your fishing rod along for additional profit from fishing pools near floating wrecks or even oily blackmouth schools close to you.
- As a miner, you can exploit the iron node spawns along the beach for extra profits.
- Be on the lookout for Lady Ziris, a level 33 rare that's an easy kill but has high-level green drops.
↖ Using Hearthstone Batching to Your Advantage
Use Hearthstone batching to quickly move between your farming spot and Thunder Bluff in order to refresh World Buffs. Set your Hearthstone at Taran Mill and then use this batching technique to teleport easily and keep those buffs up longer.
↖ The Economic Landscape
Remember that market prices change. Fish Oil and Pearl prices have reduced on some servers. Additionally, bot activity can affect the economy so timing your sales, like selling during peak weekend hours can dramatically affect your gains.
↖ The Grind's Outcome
If you grind dedicatedly for some time, you should be able to make over 250 gold. Surprisingly, raw silver drops, grey items and valuable greens often contribute more to your total earnings than pearls or fish oils.
