DFB: Zimmermann New Chairman of the Presidential Conference
The decision was "unanimous" as part of a meeting. Zimmermann had been proposed by the southern German football dressing. The President of the Baden Football Association is succession from 11 March. According to DFB statutes, the chairman of the Presidential Conference is at the same time the candidate for the Office of the 1st DFB Vice-President amateurs. In this position, Zimmermann must be confirmed on March 11, however, from the DFB Bundestag in Bonn. Currently he is still responsible DFB vice president for youth football and arbitratories.

"I am honored by the great trust of the Presidential Conference," Zimmermann is quoted by the DFB, "I know about the big challenges that are all waiting for us and who are specifically connected to this office.
