Runescape Return of Paul and changes to Trim Completionist Escape Guides

Changes to the Trim Completionist Escape

For the first time in many years, in-game polls are being used to determine future game changes in Runescape, and some of the big hitters are Trim Completionist Escape changes. The poll is short, but the questions are important as the Trim Completionist Escape is in a strange spot where the name and game procedure holds isn't exactly crystal clear.

Currently, you can be a Trim Comp player without having killed every single boss in the game, like the Reaper Crew achievement or having the Master Quest Cape. However, it doesn't make sense, and for many players, adding things such as the Reaper Crew achievement and Master Quest Cape to the Trim Completionist Escape only makes sense.

There should be a clearly defined difference in either lengthy grinds or PvM achievements between the regular Comp and Trimmed Comp capes. So adding 100 Xamarack to Trim Comp and just one kill count 0% in rates, the regular Comp PvM-wise would make sense and have a clearly defined difference in terms of difficulty for the achievement.

Adding and Removing Requirements

With today's update, certain achievements have been added and removed from the regular Completionist Escape. For example, you now need to complete a Celtic Knot Clue step at least once and unlock Plant Power Tier 4 from the Garden of Courage for Trim Comp. Jagex removed the Pennant to the King, but Baroness Old Achievement and the 100 bonus flash event completions requirement while adding others such as the Golden Crocodile Hunter Achievement, which requires you to unlock every single thing from Dundee's Short Pad to Oasis.

Retro Sarah Durman Rune God Armor Set

This week features a brand new, retro, cosmetic, and remastered item, the Retro Sarah Durman Rune God Armor Set. It looks good and solid and is something you can definitely match with your 120 defense or Comp Cape. However, it costs a whopping 630 Rune coins or 567 if you remember. Generally, this pack is overpriced, although it is much better than something like Treasure Hunter, where people have to gamble to try and get it.

Other Changes

In terms of other patches, we don't have much other than a couple of fixes and changes and the unwelcome's guest quest. Now, awarding one quest point and being a requirement for the quest cape, Ushab T should no longer collect the incorrect saw. They seem to fix some say spots when fighting Zima Regal's Undead. Even though you're still able to say spot these post-updates, they seem to have improved the experience.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Runescape is continuously evolving with new updates, changes, and additions to the game. The recent changes to the Trim Completionist Escape have sparked many discussions and debates among players, and it will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
