How to Target Farming Diablo 4 Specific Loot Gear?
Looting is a crucial part of Diablo 4 gameplay, but with the RNG factor, finding the specific gear you want can be a challenge. However, Diablo 4 has multiple systems in place to help players target and farm different pieces of loot and Diablo 4 Gold looking for. Here's a breakdown of the different systems and how they work.
↖ Gambling Vendors
There are two gambling vendors in Diablo 4 that sell randomized gear for every single slot in the game.
- The first vendor uses murmuring opals, which are obtained by completing open-world events and random events in dungeons.
- The second vendor is PvP-specific and uses a new currency found within the fields of hatred.
These vendors can be helpful for gearing up while leveling up and getting through the main campaign. They can also be used in the end game for farming specific gear slots or obtaining legendary items quickly. However, not all unique items can be obtained from these vendors, as some are meant to be obtained from specific harder content.
↖ Tree of Whispers and Whispers of the Dead
This is an EndGame-specific system that unlocks once you reach world tier 3, which requires completing the main campaign and the first cap zone dungeon. The system fills up the world with objectives that rotate a handful of times every day and give different random amounts of loot, including grim favors.
Once you obtain 10 grim favors, you can take them to the Tree of Whispers and choose a cache of loot that gives you a specific item slot or pieces of loot. This is one of the first ways to start targeting specific slots of loot in the end game.
Another EndGame-specific system that unlocks once you reach world tier 3, Helltide causes one region of the game to be taken over by Lilith and her armies. Completing events, killing bosses, or killing any enemies in this area gives you a new currency called cinders, which can be used on HellTied caches found throughout the region.
These caches give you a specific slot of loot and are randomized, so you have to find the chest you want to get the type of loot you're looking for. This is another way to target farm-specific slots of loot in the end game.
↖ Future Seasons
With how much Diablo 4 allows players to target farm-specific loot in the base game, it's likely that future seasons will also implement new ways to target farm-new loot. The developers seem to be very much focused on providing players with ways to obtain the gear they want and need, so be on the lookout for new systems and ways to farm loot in the future.
