Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.2 Notes Changes and Fixes

Welcome to Diablo 4 Article! Diablo 4 has just launched a brand new Patch 1.0.2, and in this patch, there are a number of different changes and fixes.  The developers have made some balanced adjustments to classes and want to provide their reasoning behind them. Overall, they are quite happy with the performance of the classes but believe there is always room for improvement. The goal behind these changes is to create a better balanced and enjoyable experience across the board.

Diablo 4 Patch 1.0.2 Notes Changes and Fixes

The updates fall into three categories

  • Reducing Effectiveness: Some class builds and synergies were deemed outside the bounds of what is reasonable for the health of the game. Their effectiveness is being reduced to avoid situations where players can survive unreasonably high amounts of damage for long periods of time, as it goes against the developers' vision for combat in Diablo 4.
  • Buffing Skills: Some skills and builds were not as effective as the developers would like, so they are pushing out buffs to increase their strength.
  • Paragon Glyphs: Currently, Paragon glyphs are providing too much player power, so their overall effectiveness is being reduced.

The developers emphasize that class balance is a journey, not a destination. They want more class builds to be fun, powerful, and competitive within reason. They appreciate all the support from the players and look forward to seeing them in Sanctuary.
