How to choose the perfect companion for your playstyle in ESO Necrom 2023?

Mirri Elendis

Mirri Elendis is one of the original two companions and can be obtained in the Blackwood zone. Her companion perk,  Mirri Elendis, grants you a 30% chance of finding additional loot from hidden compartments in treasure chests found overland. This perk is particularly useful when farming treasure maps or following chest routes. If you are interested in maximizing your loot from chests,  Mirri Elendis is the companion for you.

Bastian's Insight

Another companion from Blackwood, Bastian's Insight, has the companion perk Improved Potions. With Bastian's Insight by your side, potions looted from monsters have a 30% chance of being improved. While Bastian can be utilized in various roles, his perk specifically benefits those who rely on potions for healing or other buffs.

Ember's Intuition

Ember's Intuition is a companion introduced in the High Isle expansion, requiring either the High Isle expansion or an ESO Plus membership to unlock. Her companion perk, "Pickpocket's Fortune," gives you a chance to obtain an extra wallet when pickpocketing. These wallets can contain gold and other ESO valuable items. Ember's Intuition is ideal for players who enjoy pickpocketing and want an additional chance at acquiring loot.

Isobel's Grace

Arguably one of the most popular companions, Isobel's Grace perk, World Boss Hunter, grants extra loot when defeating world bosses. She excels as a tank and has powerful skills. Isabel is a great choice if you're focusing on farming world bosses and want a reliable companion to assist you.

Sharp's Patience

Sharp's Patience is a new necromancer companion. Their companion perk, Fishing Enthusiast, makes fish bite at a faster rate and increases the chance of catching trophy fish. This perk applies not only to regular fishing but also to specific zones with unique fishing opportunities, such as Summerset. Utilize Sharp's Patience if you enjoy fishing or want to maximize your chances of catching rare fish.

Azandar's Inquisitiveness

Azandar Inquisitiveness companion perk, Treasure Hunter, increases your chances of obtaining valuable items from looting containers. This includes crafting recipes, treasure maps, research nodes, survey reports, and other documents. Azandar's Inquisitiveness is particularly useful when looting containers or following stealing routes. Treasure maps, in particular, can lead to significant gold rewards. Consider using Asander when focusing on looting and treasure-hunting activities.

Conclusion:

Each companion in ESO has its own unique perks and utilization. Mirri Elendis, Bastian's Insight, Ember's Intuition, Isobel's Grace, Sharp's Patience, and Azandar's Inquisitiveness offer different benefits depending on your gameplay style and goals. Choose companions that align with your preferred activities, whether it's treasure hunting, pickpocketing, world boss farming, fishing, or looting containers. Maximize the potential of each companion's perks to enhance your ESO experience.
