In Diablo 4 (D4), Wrathful Heart belongs to Malignant Hearts, which can be socketed on Rings and Necklaces with Infested Sockets.

The Great Feast	Necromancer	Each Minion drains 1.0-2.0 Essence per second but deals 50-75% increased damage. With no Minions, this bonus applies to you and drains 5 Essence per second.
The Malignant Pact	General	Cycle through a Malignant bonus every 20 kills: Vicious: Gain 20% Attack Speed.; Devious: Core and Basic Skills have a 15% chance to fully restore your Primary Resource.; Brutal: Every 21 seconds, gain a Barrier absorbing 85-102 damage.
The Unconstrained Beast	Druid	When you are hit with a Stun, Freeze, or Knock Down effect, there is a 40-60% chance to automatically activate Grizzly Rage for 3 seconds.
The Vile Apothecary	Rogue	Your attacks have a 5-15% chance to apply all Imbuement effects at 40-50% of normal potency.

To unlock Wrathful Hearts, you'll need to progress through the game and complete certain milestones. Normally, obtaining these hearts would require reaching at least chapter 3, which often requires a character to be at level 45 or higher. However, there is a method to acquire them much earlier than that.

 

By exploring specific malignant tunnels, such as the Ravening Pit in the dry steps southwest of Kyovo, you can have a chance to encounter Wrathful enemies. The tunnel may also grant you bonuses like increased attack speed, resource restoration, or a damage-absorbing barrier, making it a beneficial endeavour even beyond acquiring the Wrathful Hearts.

 

While inside the malignant tunnel, focus on locating and defeating the Elite enemies. To optimize the process, refrain from engaging other mobs or looting items. In Diablo 4, Wrathful Hearts are valuable items, especially the sought-after Barber gem. This guide will show you a fast and efficient farming strategy to obtain Wrathful Hearts with the Season One mechanic.

 

Requirements:

• Character in World Tier 4
• No special keys or materials needed

 

Location: Ravening Pit

The farm spot is located in the Ravening Pit, a Malignant Tunnel close to Champions Demise in the Dry Steps area. There are always three Wrathful Elite spawns on this map, with a chance of one additional spawn.

 

Strategy:

• Enter the Ravening Pit and check the affixes on the elite enemies. Look for the Wrathful Elite spawns. These elites will have the "skull" icon as their affix.
• Quickly eliminate the three Wrathful Elites in the map.
• Optionally, you can also check and defeat additional elites for more chances at Wrathful Hearts.
• Once you have cleared the area, either leave the dungeon and quickly join a friend to reset it, or press "M," then "Q," and choose "Reset Dungeon" to reset it solo.
• Repeat the process to farm more Wrathful Hearts.

 

Tips for Efficiency:

• Use a mobile-oriented build for faster clearing, such as the Rogue.
• Focus solely on checking the affixes and killing the targeted elites, skipping other mobs.
