Season of Discovery Feral Druid (Phase 1) Guide: Runes, Talents, Bis and Preraid Gear

Hey there, fellow gamers! Ready to up your Feral Druid game in Season of Discovery? We've been deep into Season of Discovery for over a week now, slaying bosses, dodging fireballs, and making questionable decisions in raids. Today, we're breaking down the Feral Druid gearing guide, so grab your cat form and let's dive into the wild.

Season of Discovery Feral Druid (Phase 1) Guide: Runes, Talents, Bis and Preraid Gear

Feral Druid DPS Talents

We're keeping it simple but effective. First five points go into Improved Wrath for some swift casting action. The next five split between Natural Weapons and Omen of Clarity for that sweet damage boost and mana conservation. Finish it off with Furer for more rage or energy when shape-shifting. Efficient and deadly.

Rotation/Log Analysis

Check out Cyclist, the Feral Druid MVP. His secret sauce? White hits and Mangle. Yep, forget Shred—Mangle is where it's at. Auto-attack, Mangle, and sprinkle in some wild strikes. Keep Savage Roar up, and you're golden.

Gearing Up

  • Head: Twilight Slayers Cowl (Tier piece) or Artemis Cowl for non-tier goodness.
  • Shoulders: Bristle Bark Amice for the win. Mantle of Thieves if RNGesus isn't on your side.
  • Back: Sergeant's Cloak—easy PvP rank 3 reward. Alternatively, snag a Cape of the Tiger off the auction house.
  • Chest: Twilight Slayer Tunic (Tier piece) or Night Walker Armor if RNG is being stingy.
  • Wrist: Bindings of Ccus or Jurassic Wrist Guards for agility goodness.
  • Hands: Void Touched Leather Gloves are the dream. Wolfclaw Gloves, Brawler Gloves, or Heavy Earthen Gloves are worthy alternatives.
  • Waist: De-Skin Belt for Horde, Scaled Leather Belt of the Tiger for everyone else.
  • Legs: Leggings of the Fang or bust. No better legs out there, period.
  • Feet: Twilight Slayers Foot Pads (Tier piece) for the win. Skin Walkers, Feet of the Lynx, or Warsong Boots are solid backups.
  • Neck: High Tide Choker is the champ. Spectral Necklace of the Tiger if you're feeling fancy.
  • Rings: Thunderbrow Ring or aim for Baron Silver Lane's Family Seal if you're an Alliance hero.
  • Trinkets: Avengers Void Pearl is your DPS buddy. Insignia of the Alliance/Horde or Rune of Duty for the other slot.
  • Weapon: Fist of the Wild reigns supreme. Smite's Might Hammer or Slag Hammer of the Tiger are decent placeholders.

Don't forget the Mind Expanding Mushroom Idol—it won't boost your DPS, but hey, it's something. Ready to rock and roll?  Until next time, happy hunting, and may your crits be legendary!
