The domestic market results for the Throne and Liberty might have been underwhelming, but the English version is expected to be released by Amazon Games in 2Q 2024. However, before that begins closed betas will start on first quarter of 2024! It could be as early as January, February or March that we would all be jumping into this immersive world. Although the exact release date within Q2 (April to June) is not specified yet, we are hoping for something closer but who knows!

↖ Innovative Combat System

The highlight of Throne & Liberty is its innovative combat system overhaul. Originally bashed because it was static, they have now made it dynamic and fluid. Now, players experience a mix of movement and action that is reminiscent of games such as World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy 14. Hence, you can attack on the move or include movement in abilities unlike in the past version where attacks were done without any motion.

↖ Classless Gameplay

Throne & Liberty breaks the mold with its classless system. Instead, what your character can do depends on the weaponry being used thereby presenting seven different weapon types with differentiated skill trees and capabilities. Skill interaction and modification systems are all embedded into this structure allowing you to hold two weapons at once for diverse combat strategies. The thing about weapon swapping is, players can now automatically switch weapons depending on the skills they use hence they no longer have to be worried about manually switching between them.

The open world of Throne & Liberty has garnered praise for its vastness and seamlessness. The game's world feels alive, with a draw distance that adds an extra layer of depth to the player experience. Content-wise, Throne & Liberty does not disappoint. The game combines both solo and group activities in form of world bosses and dungeons.
