↖ Season Start and Theme

On January 23rd at 10 a.m. PST, Season 3 will kick off. This Season, referred to as Construct Season, quite mysteriously points towards Zoltun Kulle's renaissance in mystical arcane circles. In a series of vaults called Zoltun Kulle's Loom, players can expect to find out what these mysteries are.

↖ New Companion and Content

One of the highlights this season is the introduction of a seasonal robotic companion that will accompany your character in his or her campaigns. Some vaults and other places in Sanctuary yield magical governing and tuning stones that empower companions. Through these stones' buffs and utility enhancements, both your companion's prowess and your hero's adeptness shall be enhanced.

↖ Gameplay Mechanics

Vaults are unique dungeons with elemental hazards and new monster families suitably crafted for veterans as well as beginners. While they preserve Zoltun wardings throughout these caves players can unlock Ward Woven Chests with better chances of getting legendary items dropped from them.

↖ Leaderboards and Delays

The Gauntlet has added weekly leaderboards which is indeed an impressive step; however, it should be noted that these boards will not be available on Season 3 launch day. A gap of approximately four weeks will give way before players can compete for top ranks.

Here are some quality-of-life updates for the new season:

• - The active period of HellTies events is now extended by one minute per hour.
• - There are better movement controls now because one can use keyboard keys apart from mouse clicks.
