The Sorceress Arc Lash Speedrunning Build is a glass cannon that focuses entirely on outputting as much damage as possible. The build isn't as nimble or fast as other builds, but it makes up for it by killing enemies faster than anything else. This build also doesn't need Uber Uniques to function efficiently, which can be difficult to obtain.

- Arc Lash: Your primary skill that deals an absurd amount of chain lightning damage to marked enemies.

- Lightning Spear: Places marks on enemies for Arc Lash and does its own heavy damage.

- Teleport: Makes you move around the map quickly when enhanced with cooldown reduction.

- Flame Shield: Your only defensive skill that grants you some survivability.

- Peng's Gauntlets: Grants you massive amounts of increased damage when combined with Lightning Spear.

- Flicker Step Boots: Reduces Teleport cooldown with every attack, meaning that you'll always be moving about quickly.

- Wand and Focus: Look out for intelligence, attack speed, and cooldown reduction bonuses on these two items.

 

↖ Aspects and Enchantments

- Vampiric Aspect and Moonrise: These two aspects may be added into the build after patch release for extra efficiency.

- Teleport Enchantment: This enchantment is vital in reducing cooldowns so that you're not left vulnerable whilst waiting for Teleport's cooldown to finish up before using it again. 

- Fireball Enchantment: Using this enchantment will ensure your teleport has reduced cool down times because it triggers from off-screen kills 

 

↖ Skill Tree Priorities

- Maximise Arc Lash along side it's enhancements to reduce its cooldown as much as possible.

- Invest in Lightning Spear and conjurations for off-screen clearing power.

- Optimise Teleport for frequent use and mobility.

- Choose damage-increasing nodes over defensive ones. 

 

↖ Gameplay Strategy

1. Use Lightning Spear to tag enemies from far away so that you can kill them all at once when you get close enough with Arc Lash.

2. Close the distance using Teleport before unloading everything you've got on your enemies with Arc Lash, this is also going to be essential in triggering chain reactions that will wipe out everything nearby.

3. Flame Shield should only be used when there's a tougher enemy on the screen so that it decreases their chances of killing you quickly.

4. In order to make sure you're constantly moving about and staying ahead of threats, you have to keep teleporting and moving.

 

↖ Adapting Without Uber Uniques & Build Planner

It goes without saying that Uber Uniques aren't necessary for this build, but if by any chance you don't have them then don't worry because the build still works perfectly fine. You may notice a slight dip in damage output, but as long as your strategy is solid and skill execution clean, then you should be able to dominate The Gauntlet without a problem.
