Old School RuneScape Food Tier List Guide: Navigating the Edible Ecosystem

Welcome to the ultimate guide to Old School RuneScape's finest meals! You may be battling dragons or just trying to survive in the wilderness, but one thing's for sure: Food is your best friend. Let's take a bite out of things and serve up our OSRS Food Tier List.

Old School RuneScape Food Tier List Guide: Navigating the Edible Ecosystem

S-Tier Foods

The very best foods that have excellent healing properties or added benefits.

  • Anglerfish: These fish are capable of boosting your HP up beyond its maximum level! Just a small warning: It won't work when used in PvP combat.
  • Saradomin Brews: Although they can decrease some of your stats, these potions have immense healing powers. Pair them with super restores.
  • Manta Ray & Dark Crab: These two have decent heals and are much easier to obtain than others on this list.

A-Tier Foods

Great options with solid healing power or handy utility.

  • Monkfish: The OG fishing meta. Good healing and easy AFK training.
  • Sea Turtle: A Theatre of Blood favorite. It's reliable and fills you up well.
  • Shark: The classic go-to food that served players for many years. Not the best healer anymore, but still good for most situations.

B-Tier Foods

Good choices that won't break the bank but still provide decent healing power.

  • Lobster: A staple food that many people start their RS adventure with. Decent heal at an affordable osrs coins.
  • Pineapple Pizza: Tasty choice with pretty good effectiveness.
  • Kebabs: A gamble food. Randomly gives large amounts of health points if you're lucky enough.

C-Tier Foods

Mediocre ones that may have unique uses or simply get overpowered by better alternatives

  • Swordfish: Once F2P's best option, now just average
  • Potato with Cheese: Unlike other potatoes it does fill you up a little bit. Not quite the best choice though.
  • Gothic Rest: Tick eating is useful for some, but not everyone.

D-Tier Foods

Useful in a pinch sometimes, but mostly just waste of inventory space.

  • Trout & Salmon: Staple training foods that will quickly be outclassed.
  • Tuna: Weaker than swordfish but still somewhat useful
  • Cooked Chicken & Beef: Old school food, but their heals won't get you far

F-Tier Foods

The worst of the worst. These items are either too weak or too specific to be worth carrying around.

  • Anchovies: You'll heal next to nothing with it. Like using a bandage on a severed arm.
  • Mackerel: Iconic membership start food, but time to hang it up for good.
  • All Gnome Foods: Just stay away from Gnome cooking mini-game all together.

Conclusion:

What's best for you can change depending on your quest at hand, combat situation, or even your pockets. Always try to hold the highest tier food that you can manage and afford. Good luck feasting! May your health bar always remain full!
