In this article, we will provide a quick update on Chain Lightning farming in the early tiers of Abattoir of Zir (AoZ). After recording runs up to tier 5 and modifying our strategy, we will share with you some essential.

↖ The Build: Adapting to New Glyphs
Our journey begins with some necessary changes to the Paragon to accommodate the new glyph. Interestingly, our glyphs dropped from level 21 to 19, but don't let that deter you. For those wielding the mighty Uber Spear, this build, slightly different from my initial AoZ guide, will give you an edge.
↖ Efficiency with and without the Uber Spear
With the Uber Spear, you'll find runs lasting around 3-4 minutes. Without it, don't worry! I've included a planner in the description for a non-Uber version. As you progress to higher tiers, remember to continually upgrade your new glyph.

↖ The Journey to Tier 10
I've committed to pushing to tier 10, focusing on farming glyph XP.
Stay tuned for upcoming articles featuring runs in tiers 10 and 15+, along with updates on other seasonal builds for AoZ.
↖ Key Build Stats
Following this build, your armor should sit at around 9,200, increasing to approximately 10,000 with crafting potions.
Health is around 15,000, with resistances maximized.
We've made a slight change by adding two points in Potent Warding, compensating for the intelligence loss from not using a two-hand legendary.
↖ Uber Spear Specifics
For those with the Uber Spear, prioritize intelligence AIC over attack speed.
Crit chance can easily hit 100% even without specific AICs on gloves, thanks to the spear's unique properties.
↖ Gear and Talents Adjustment
If you lack the Uber Helm, opt for the Godslayer Helm.
Adjust your DPS aspects and amulet enchantments for better damage reduction.
For Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop, use a mix of elements: fire, lightning, cold, and poison.
↖ Paragon Board Adjustments
On the Paragon board, we've replaced the Tactician glyph with the new glyph on the Icefall board.
This change boosts damage reduction from chilled enemies and enhances intelligence and damage.
The overall strategy remains similar, but we've had to forego some points in certain areas to accommodate the new glyph.
↖ Glyph Leveling Strategy
Leveling the new glyph is a long grind. It's not necessary to fill it up right away, especially since doing so might mean sacrificing points in armor, damage reduction, or enchantments. I recommend a balanced approach, especially when pushing higher tiers.
Conclusion and Updates
We'll continue to update you with higher-tier strategies and gameplay variations, including builds with and without Uber uniques.
