• Players found a cow-based fountain in K Bardu, which hinted at cleansing certain items.
• After months of fruitless searching, Season 2 and Patch 1.2 brought a change. Data miners confirmed the existence of specific relic items that drop after killing 666 cows.
• Three different relic items drop, each depending on the zone where the final cow was slain.
• Weekly resets are required, but these relic items can be traded among party members.
• Cleansing these relic items in the cow-based fountain unlocks a specific key.

This key grants access to a previously inaccessible cellar on the Eastern tip of Sko Glen, shaped like a cow. Inside this cellar, players face 28 cows and receive an "Old Dusty Stamina Potion" after defeating them. The true purpose of this potion remains a mystery, but it's believed to be a significant step toward entering the Cow Level.

Collecting these D4 items is no small feat. I personally farmed 666 cows to obtain each of these do Janks, which is quite a demanding task, to say the least.

To unlock the Secret Cow Level, you'll need to pay attention to the clues provided during the quest. The cow statue and old tablet both contain a cryptic message: Spill their blood to be deemed worthy. This implies that we need to eliminate cows to obtain the necessary artifacts.

The Oxen god of the East instructs us to cleanse our offerings in the sacred fountain's waters. Therefore, to gain the blessing of the oxen gods, we must submerge these items in water.

 

↖ The Strange Key

After cleansing the artifacts, you will obtain the Strange Key. This key opens a hidden entrance to a location to the east, which brings us one step closer to the Secret Cow Level.

The Strange Key unlocks the door to Forlorn H, a sinister-looking place with numerous cows and the remains of slain villagers. In this eerie locale, you'll encounter slain hunters and slain villagers, leading to the belief that there is something more sinister at play here.

During your exploration of Forlorn H, you'll come across Stamina Potions. These potions are a vital part of this quest, and you can farm multiple potions here. If you leave the area and return, you can replenish your stock, ensuring that you have enough for what lies ahead.

The exact use of Stamina Potions remains a mystery. Some players believe they might be connected to the Cow King. Given that the Cow King drops Stamina Potions and is the king of the cows, there's a theory that consuming the potions at his crown, resembling a horn, may be significant. However, this theory is yet to be confirmed.

As for stacking multiple Stamina Potions, you cannot stack them. While it doesn't display the number of stacks, you'll have one buff effect. Drinking more than one potion won't increase your movement speed.
