How to Complete the OSRS Desert Treasure Quest?

The Desert Treasure quest is one of the longest and most difficult quests in Old School Runescape (OSRS). It requires a substantial commitment of both time and effort to complete, but the rewards are well worth the effort. In this guide, we'll cover all the steps necessary to complete the Desert Treasure quest and get your hands on the ancient artefacts contained within.

How to Complete the OSRS Desert Treasure Quest?

1. Prerequisites

Before you can even begin the Desert Treasure quest, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Level 50 Crafting
  • Level 50 Magic
  • Level 43 Prayer
  • Level 31 Thieving
  • Completed Priest in Peril, The Dig Site, and The Tourist Trap quests

2. Getting Started

Once you have met all the requirements, you can begin the quest. To start, head to the town of Nardah, which is located south of the Bandit Camp in the Kharidian Desert. Look for Eblis, a mysterious man who will offer to start the quest. He will give you a crystal, which will be used to activate the quest.

3. Gaining Access to the Pyramid

Your next objective is to gain access to the pyramid. To do this, you'll need to travel to the ruins of Uzer, which is located west of the Shantay Pass. Once there, look for a man named Tenzing and speak to him. He will ask you to retrieve a statuette from the dig site, which you will need to gain access to the pyramid.

4. Collecting the Statuette

Head to the dig site located north of Al Kharid and speak to the excavation team leader. He will ask you to collect the statuette from the ruins of Uzer. Return to Tenzing with the statuette and he will give you a key to the pyramid.

5. Entering the Pyramid

Once you have the key, head to the pyramid located south-east of Uzer. Use the key to open the pyramid and enter. You will find yourself in a large chamber with four statues. Each statue represents an ancient god. You must activate each statue in order to access the chamber containing the artefacts.

6. Activating the Statues

To activate the statues, you must first find four gems. The gems can be found in the following locations:

  • The first gem is located in the Desert Mining Camp, located south-west of the pyramid.
  • The second gem is located in the Bedabin Camp, located east of the pyramid.
  • The third gem is located in the Jaldraocht Pyramid, located south-east of the pyramid.
  • The fourth gem is located in the Ruins of Uzer, located west of the pyramid.

Once you have all four gems, return to the chamber and use them on the statues. This will activate the statues and open the door to the chamber containing the artefacts.

7. Collecting the Artefacts

In the chamber, you will find four ancient artefacts: the Staff of Armadyl, the Amulet of Fury, the Bandos Chestplate, and the Ancient Mace. Collect all four artefacts and return to Eblis in Nardah.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed the Desert Treasure quest and collected the artefacts. You are now ready to begin your journey in the world of Old School Runescape.
