TAKE-TWO pursues Modder on the unofficial port of Red Dead Redemptio

Red Dead Redemption 2 - Final Mission - Red Dead Redemption [Help John get to safety] Modding turns the world, but in order to make the best unofficial product possible, sometimes people intersect. Little general information: Before the output of Red Dead Redemption 2, there was a game called Red Dead Redemption for PS3 and Xbox 360, and more specifically for PC. It was a big game, but PC players felt excluded. A modder named Johnathan Wychoff has therefore decided to create an unofficial port of Red Dead Redemption to PC called Damned Enhancement Project. Unfortunately, Wychoff does not respect all the rules according to Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games.

In September, Take-Two filed an order to stop and abstain on the project and was respected at first, but development continued. On December 26, Take-Two filed a complaint with three different allegations that Wychoff does is illegal. The first is that it uses GTA V assets in the project, the second is that it uses Red Dead Redemption 2 PC assets to improve the project, and the third is that it takes advantage of its work through donations from social media and his Patreon account. I am not a lawyer, but it does not seem that these things are illegal, but when they are packaged together, it poses a problem.

For now, Red Dead Redemption: Damned Enhancement Project is "canceled", but the development had stopped before and Take-Two would be imprudent to believe it. Red Dead Redemption is available on PS3 and Xbox 360. If you see it elsewhere, it's probably illegal, partner.
