With the right knowledge and skills, you can take on any challenge that comes your way!
- Magic Warden - Tier B-
- Stamina Templar - Tier B
- Stamina Sorcerer - Tier B+
- Stamina Warden - Tier A-
- Necromancer - Tier A
- Magicka Nightblade - Tier A
Magic Warden - Tier B-
The Magic Warden has seen some major nerfs in recent patches, but there’s still hope for this class. Its beetles now explode over 9 seconds instead of 6, making it harder to deal full damage, but if ZOS can fix this issue the Magic Warden will be a great choice for soloing.
Stamina Templar - Tier B
The Stamina Templar used to be the king of simplicity, however it’s no longer able to put out the same amount of damage with the same few buttons and is now in an awkward position. The Magic Templar has become a beast, and so ZOS nerfed the gear that made the Stamina Templar great, leaving it floundering a bit. It’s still great for group content though.
Stamina Sorcerer - Tier B+
This class has always been a bit of an oxymoron in ESO, and this year saw the Stamina Sorcerer reach its peak with Crystal Fragments buffed to interstellar heights. Unfortunately, as quickly as it was buffed, it was then nerfed again, meaning you’re better off with the Magicka Sorcerer. That said, it’s still incredibly tanky and can face tank most fights.
Stamina Warden - Tier A-
The Stamina Warden has seen some major nerfs, particularly to its damage and sustain. However, the hybridization of the game has allowed the Stamina Warden to use the Magicka version of the Colossus semi-spammable, which gives it access to major and minor breach, making it a great choice for solo content.
Necromancer - Tier A
The Necromancer has seen some major changes this year, with Carve turned into a DoT and the Necro side buffed to take its place. This has made the Necromancer a lot easier to play, with a great amount of built-in survivability and tons of utility. It’s also the king of AOE damage thanks to Blast Bones.
Magicka Nightblade - Tier A
The Magicka Nightblade is one of the simplest classes to play, as it can stay alive easily due to the healing effect of its spammable Swallow Soul. It has great survivability and lots of utility, making it a great choice for solo content.
Conclusion
The Elder Scrolls Online offers players a wide array of options for solo PvE classes. By taking the time to understand the basics of solo PvE classes and the strategies and tactics available to them, you can become an efficient and effective solo PvE player. With the right knowledge and skills, you can take on any challenge that comes your way and become a powerful force in ESO.
