Diablo 4 Elixir of Cruelty is a consumable that temporarily enhances your character's abilities in Diablo 4. For 30 minutes, you'll get a 15% increase to your chance for critical strikes and an extra 5% experience bonus per enemy kill. The Elixir of Cruelty can only be used once every thirty minutes, meaning you must wait if you want to keep using it after it runs out. Also, you have to be level 36 or higher to use this wonder item.

Limits and Rarity

You can't just pop multiple Elixirs at once either - one per player is the limit. So make sure you're consuming them at the right times; don't waste their potency. In terms of rarity, what drops them reflects how rare they are: Helltide Chests, Nightmare Dungeons, and Tree of Whisper rewards will give you a shot at getting them.

Getting the Elixir of Cruelty

The main source of this elixir is Tortured Gifts, which are special chests spawned during Helltide Events. To open these boxes, you need Aberrant Cinders - a currency acquired by killing foes and clearing World Events within Helltides.

Efficiently using the Elixir of Cruelty

Once you have some Elixirs in your inventory's Consumable Tab (P), just click on them to apply their effects for half an hour. If speed is more important than ease-of-access for consuming it in combat situations though (because let's face it, pressing the wrong button can be fatal), players can also bind this consumable to their Emote Wheel in Options > Keybindings.
