Creatures of Night are consumable items in Diablo 4, which restore different elements and increase damage or defense temporarily.

Uses and Effects of Creatures of Night

These creatures are capable of increasing the damage of hit effects by a hundred percent for each player nearby. This takes place within a duration of twenty minutes. This particular consumable is classed as a III Incense and only one incense of that type can be active at any given time therefore you cannot stack more than one Creatures of Night incenses.

Assigning Quick Item Slot to The Creatures of Night

In order to use The Creatures of Night while playing, it must be assigned to the quick item slot as shown:

To open the Character Menu, press this key/ button on your platform (PC, console).

Find Consumables tab or section in Character Menu.

Pick up The Creatures of Night from your inventory.

To obtain The Creatures of Night you must first meet level requirement thirty. At level thirty buying can be done from a merchant called The Creatures Of Night through whom they can be found in various places. Be on the lookout for them as they may appear in different parts around the world.

All inventory slots can accommodate creatures of night. Check how many of them can fit in one slot in your inventory.

You will have to wait for the effect of another type III incense you were using at the same time to finish or remove it manually before applying The Creatures of Night.

When the effect of creatures of night runs out, you will have to pop another incense or consumable to keep up their damage boost.
