Kojima rejects high proposals of companies that want to buy their study
As already known for a few months, Video Kolyma currently has its own podcast program, in which it speaks with great personalities of both the video game industry and pop culture. And in one of his recent programs he has revealed that sometimes some companies have approached him to buy his company.
It is worth mentioning that all these ridiculously high offers have been rejected on a couple of occasions, since the creator of the Metal Gear saga has remained with the promise of being independent. Because when their ideas are sold, a type of manager who wants to go on a more commercial side.
This is what he said about it:
Allow me to reiterate that we are independent. We have no affiliations of any kind, and we are not backed by anyone.
And every day offers from all over the world to buy our study. Some of these offers are ridiculously high prices, but it is not that they want money. I want to do what I want to do. That's why I created this study.
So, while I am alive, I don't think you accept those offers.
That means that purchase proportions such as what fans are looking for with Sony would be far from happening.
