Path of Exile Simple Solution Fixing Stuttering Issues Guides

Are you tired of dealing with annoying stutters in Path of Exile that make your gaming experience less enjoyable? You're not alone. Stuttering can be a major issue for some players, causing frustration and hindering gameplay. However, I stumbled upon a simple solution that worked wonders for me, and I'm here to share it with you.

Path of Exile Simple Solution Fixing Stuttering Issues Guides

Disclaimer: This solution worked for me, but I can't guarantee the same results for your system. Also, it's important to note that this fix won't give you more FPS; it's designed for players who already have decent FPS but are still experiencing stutters. So, without further ado, let's get into it.

Access Power Options

Open your Windows search bar by clicking on the Windows icon or pressing the Windows key on your keyboard.

In the search bar, type Control Panel and hit Enter.

Inside the Control Panel, navigate to the top-right corner and change the view mode from Category to Large Icons. This will make it easier to find what you need.

Once you've switched to Large Icons, look for the Power Options icon and click on it.

Step 2: Switch to Balanced Power Plan

Now, here's where you might be a little skeptical. Most of us gamers tend to set our PCs to High Performance because it sounds like the logical choice, right? Well, it turns out that for some of us, that might be causing stuttering issues in Path of Exile.

In the Power Options window, you'll see a list of power plans. By default, your system might be set to High Performance.

Click on the Balanced power plan

And that's it! Surprisingly, this simple change might be the solution to your stuttering problems in Path of Exile.

I know it might sound a bit too good to be true, but I can't explain exactly why this works. What I can say is that it worked for me, and it's worth trying out for yourself. The best part is that if it doesn't work, you can easily switch your preference back to High Performance.

Important Note: Stuttering can be difficult to showcase in recordings, so I apologize for not being able to demonstrate it in-game. However, I encourage you to give this solution a shot – you have nothing to lose and potentially a much smoother gaming experience to gain.
