Season of Discovery Updates: Darkmoon Faire, Class Changes, Tips and More

Darkmoon Faire

The Darkmoon Faire is back! It's a gold mine for rewards like a 14-slot bag and epic items for future phases. Crafters in blacksmithing, engineering, and leatherworking, listen up: there are quests in the fair offering reputation and prize tickets

Stock up on materials like Coarse Weightstones and basic leather armor for the auction house – there's high demand. For the damage enthusiasts, grab the Sage's Dark Fortune of Damage buff from the null Sage for a sweet 10% increase.

Class Changes

Blizzard's tweaking some classes:

  • Mages: Living Flame now benefits from Arcane Blast stacks, opening up new build possibilities.
  • Paladin: Avenger Shield's slow effect is now removable. Seal of the Martyr's mana generation for party/raid members is doubled.
  • Rogue: Blade Dance now grants a flat 10% parry chance, regardless of combo points.
  • Shaman: Shamanistic Rage's mana benefit for party/raid members increased to 20%.

Tailoring Additions

Tailors, get ready! New recipes for Invoker's Cord and Mantle are available, offering spell damage and healing boosts.

Gold-Making Tips

  • Iridescent Pearls: Farm from murlocs and Naga; they sell well.
  • Grave Moss and Free Action Potions: High demand for BFD and other uses.
  • Blackmouth Oil: Prices are up, so fishers, get your rods ready!
  • Shredder Turbochargers: Still in demand for quests in Ratchet.

Battle for Ashenvale

The classic team has been responsive to feedback. Faction leaders are now available before the event starts for turning in quest items. The event's pace and rewards have been increased, enhancing the PvP experience.

Flex Raiding

There's talk about introducing Flex raiding, adjusting enemy difficulty based on raid size. This could be a game-changer for guilds struggling with full rosters.

Arena Queueing

There's a growing interest in arena queueing, from 1v1 to 5v5. It could be a fun, relaxed PvP option, separate from the intensity of battlegrounds.
