Riot Games announces the regional price changes of League of Legends Wild Rift

Riot Games has announced several price changes that will arrive in League of Legends: Wild Rift on September 8. These changes are related to regional prices and global currency bonuses. From time to time, Riot examines global prices and adjusts its price system in the game to reflect changes in the currency and taxes of all regions.

As of September 6, Brazil, Latin America and Russia will see an increase in prices due to changes in taxes and exchange rates. This change will not only have an effect on Wild Rift, but also in League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics.

All the details about the regional price changes of Wild Rift

While Brazilian, Latin American and Brazilian players will face an increase in prices, European players will see reduced prices. This is due to favorable changes in exchange rates in Europe. Riot will allow players to receive a double bonus in the game currency of all virtual purchases. All players can benefit from this double bonus currency scheme even if they are not in the affected regions.

Then, from August 23 to September 8, the purchase of a Wild Core package will grant players twice the usual bonus. The changes in Wild Rift prices of each region differ with Brazil and some Latin American countries that have high increases. The changes are the following:

Brazil: average price increase of + 15% Colombia: average price increase of + 12% Costa Rica: average price increase of + 8% Uruguay: average price increase of + 17% Peru: increased price increase + 15 % Russia: increased price increase + 6%

European players will obtain an average price decrease of less than 5% only if they use euros, Hungarian flor or pound sterling. Since these changes are periodic, they could still increase or decrease according to the regions of Wild Rift and their economic situation.

League of Legends: Wild Rift continues to be successful among mobile devices users with their recent introduction of Thresh in the game. Wild Rift Patch 2.4A also introduced the Pulsefire Thresh aspect, as well as Dark Star Kha'zix and Varus. Price changes should be part of the next update of the Wild Rift patch for the mobile game.
