The collaboration between Sony and Discord is beginning to be implemented. As of yesterday, PLAYSTATION users can link their PlayStation Network accounts with their discord accounts. Of course: At the moment the functionality is only available in the United States. The president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan, announced the integration with Discord last May, affirming that they wanted to unify both experiences at the beginning of 2022. A post on the official Discord site gives us more details. By linking the DISCORD account to the PlayStation account, users will be able to display on their discord profile which game are playing on their PlayStation consoles. In addition, PLAYSTATION users will have an option to make their PlayStation ID appear in their discord profiles. The integration of Discord and PlayStation will reach the rest of the world "soon".
