Best OSRS Weapons Accursed Sceptre for Fighting Bossing Guide

Are you looking to take your Wilderness Bossing to the next level? Arc, the revamped Wilderness Boss, offers some of the rarest and most powerful weapons in Old School Runescape. But with so many weapons to choose from, which one should you use? In this guide, LOLTANK will discuss the Accursed Sceptre, a powerful weapon that has undergone a dramatic rework recently. We'll discuss what it is, its stats and special attack, and how best to use it for OSRS bossing.

Best OSRS Weapons Accursed Sceptre for Fighting Bossing Guide

What is the Accursed Sceptre?

The Accursed Sceptre is a powerful two-handed staff that is dropped by the Wilderness Boss Arc. It offers the same basic stats as the Trident of the Seas and Trident of the Swamp, but has an additional special attack called Condemn. This attack is incredibly powerful, as it increases your accuracy and damage by 50%, and drains your target's magic and defense by 15. It is a great weapon for bossing, as it can drastically speed up your kills.

How to Use the Accursed Sceptre for OSRS Bossing?

The Accursed Sceptre is incredibly powerful for OSRS bossing, as it can drastically speed up your kills. For general PvM, it is best used for bosses that you normally use magic to kill, such as Zulrah or Bandos. It also works great for bosses that you only use magic to kill with the use of the Tumikin Shadow, such as Abyssal Sire or Kalphite Queen.

When using the Accursed Sceptre for OSRS bossing, it is important to remember that it does not hit as hard as the Trident of the Seas or Trident of the Swamp outside of the Wilderness. Therefore, it is best to use it in conjunction with another magic weapon such as the Eldritch or Volatile. This will allow you to maximize your damage output, while also taking advantage of the Accursed Sceptre's special attack.

Fighting Abyssal Sire

The Abyssal Sire is a dangerous boss that requires some good knowledge and preparation before taking it on. The Abyssal Sire is weak to Magic, so you want to bring your best Magic gear and a Magic-boosting familiar like the Unicorn Stallion. You should also bring a Sceptre that can be activated to unlock a special attack, as well as a Light Barer and a Discharge spell.

When fighting the Abyssal Sire, you want to activate the Sceptre special attack at the start of the fight. This will give you a boost to both your Magic attack and your accuracy, allowing you to hit the Sire more often. You should also use your Light Barer and Discharge spells to keep your damage up.

When it comes to the Respiratory phase of the fight, you can use the Sceptre special attack again to help reduce the damage you take from the Respiratory. This will help you survive the Respiratory phase and make it easier to finish the fight.

Overall, the Abyssal Sire is a great OSRS boss that rewards players well with lots of OSRS Gold. With the right preparation and knowledge, you can make quick work of this boss and reap the rewards. With the help of the Sceptre special attack, you can make the fight even easier and more profitable.

Fighting Shadow at Sire

Shadow at Sire is a popular boss in Old School Runescape and is used to farm various items and get a decent xp rate. It is one of the fastest bosses in the game and is quite straightforward to do. However, some players still find it difficult to complete the fight due to the last phase of the fight, where you have to handle minions.

The trickiest part about this phase is that you have paper defense, which means you can get melted by the minions if you don't do it properly. It is best to move away from the minions and use Blood Barrage to heal back up on the central clump of minions. If you know Sire is about to die as the Shadow cast is being fired towards the boss, you can use Blood Barrage and heal, as that hit is about to kill the boss. This will help you get back to 43 and make the fight quicker

Using the Scepter at Sire works wonders as it improves kill times quite a bit. However, it is not recommended to bring Deceptive at Shadow Thermy as its magic level is actually quite low and won't drain anything. Furthermore, its magic special defense is quite high, so it would not make a difference. If you manage to reach 31.6 kills per hour with the Scepter, then you can do a Phantom Heal to speed the fight up.

It is also important to note that you should not bring the Scepter to Corporeal Beast as it only drains its Magic Defense and Physical Defense, meaning it will not help you as much as you would think. Although it takes longer for the Shadow to hit the Respiratory System, you can still reach 32 kills per hour if you manage to avoid making mistakes.

The VoidWaker works better in some situations, such as the Chambers of Xeric, as there are many bosses that are resistant to magic and the Void Waker can only do half the damage. Dragon Claw is usually the weapon of choice for this boss as it can do full damage to everything.

Finally, it is important to remember that Redwood is usually the best weapon when it comes to clue scrolls and collection logs, as it complements them really well. To get the best xp rates, it is best to do the worst three-step last. Good luck, and happy grinding!

Conclusion

The Accursed Sceptre is an incredibly powerful weapon for OSRS bossing. It offers a dramatic damage and accuracy increase with its special attack, while also reducing your target's magic and defense. This makes it great for bosses that you normally use magic to kill, as well as bosses that you only use magic to kill with the use of the Tumikin Shadow. Remember to use it in conjunction with another magic weapon such as the Eldritch or Volatile for maximum damage output.
