What are Important Changes in Fallout 76 Mutation Invasion Update

Fallout 76 has been around for quite some time now, and with the release of the Mutation Invasion Update, there are a lot of changes and additions to the game. In this guide, we'll be taking a look at seven changes you may have missed in the new update.

What are Important Changes in Fallout 76 Mutation Invasion Update

Firstly, Bethesda has added a new random encounter known as the Smiling Man. This random encounter is a reference to a real-life cryptid that was apparently sighted in 1966 in West Virginia. If you chose to attack the Smiling Man, he will fly away in a puff of smoke.

Secondly, the Ultracite Laser Gun has been given a slight buff in the form of increased base damage. This may not seem like much, but when you compare the old base damage to the new base damage, it's almost doubled.

Thirdly, there is now an option to disable camera shake in the settings menu under the display options. This is great news for players who found the constant shaking during some events to be annoying.

The fourth change is the addition of stash boxes at almost every public event location. This is great news for non-Fallout First members, as they can now access their stash at public events.

Fifthly, there have been changes to the Caps limits. The daily Fallout 76 Caps limit has been increased from 300 to 500, and you can now hold up to 6000 Caps. On top of this, the script surplus weekends now max out at 1000 Caps daily.

Sixthly, there are now new legacy weapons available in the game. This is a bit strange, considering they were just removed not that long ago.

Lastly, the Ammo Storage Box has been given a quality-of-life change. When you enter the transfer menu, you will now see a Transfer All Unused Ammo option at the bottom, allowing you to quickly transfer all the ammo that you're not currently using in any of the weapons in your inventory.

We hope this guide has been helpful in informing you of some of the changes and additions made in the Fallout 76 Mutation Invasion Update.
