What is the Returning Player Challenge Track?

The Returning Player Challenge Track is a system designed to encourage returning players to engage with some of the newer content in Runescape. Upon logging back in, players will be presented with a pop-up listing the 20 special returner challenges they must complete in order to gain access to the rewards.

The challenges are designed to get players to engage with content such as foreign free, archeology, Anacronia, and Godor's Dungeon 3. By completing these challenges, players can progress toward reward thresholds and earn rewards.

What rewards can be earned?

The rewards that can be earned by completing the challenges are divided into several tiers. For every three challenges completed, players will progress toward reward thresholds. There are separate rewards for both free-to-play and member players.

The first member's award is a consumable item that allows players to die for free for 35 days. The second tier of rewards is a bunch of clue scrolls, and the third is a unique title called the "Break Taker". The fourth tier is a single death touch dart and a giant prismatic star. The fifth tier is a challenge gift box and a five percent chance to double experience for 15 days.

How can you take advantage of the Returning Player Challenge Track?

In order to take advantage of the Returning Player Challenge Track, players must log in after a long period of time. This can be done by trying to log into multiple accounts which have not been logged in for a while.

Additionally, players can also purchase the hidden mobile-only "Heroes Return" packs, which contain several bonuses such as membership, 50 xp boost, GP and more.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Returning Player Challenge Track is a great way for returning players to engage with some of the newer content in Runescape and earn rewards for doing so. By completing the 20 special returner challenges, players can progress toward reward thresholds and earn rewards such as clue scrolls, a unique title, and more. Be sure to log in after a long period of time to take advantage of this system, and consider purchasing the "Heroes Return" pack for additional bonuses.
