Farming PoE Currency uses City Square maps with Metamorph and Harbinger Sextants Strategy

Welcome to the Path of Exile Currency, where we'll be discussing a low investment method to farm currency in Path of Exile. In this guide, we'll be taking a look at running City Square maps with Metamorph and Harbinger sextants. Our goal is to drop catalysts, fractions, orbs, and sustain maps to either sell or use, while also adding essences to the mix.

Before we begin, note that we're using extra Altos for this, as we don't need quant, and we're skipping the Crucible. We're also taking sulfites as they can be turned into money and provide movement and damage buffs. It's also worth noting that we're running the Gilded Scarab of Sexton, which provides free profit if you buy it for cheap.

We start by buying City Square maps, chiseling them, and adding essences to the map device. Our tree has Harbinger, Metamorph, and map drop nodes allocated. We'll see what the profit looks like after the maps. Our Metamorph tab is empty, so we'll figure out how good everything is after completing the maps.

After completing the City Square maps, we have 100+ Prismatic Catalysts, 80+ Fertile Catalysts, and very few Cheap Catalysts. It's important to note that we rendered all our Cheap Catalysts, as there's a vendor recipe where you can turn three catalysts into another one, and it saves time. The profit was around seven divine net profit per hour.

We sorted everything into tabs, based on affinities. Map sustain was excellent, as we dropped over 200 maps, which is an average of two maps per map. We also have a bunch of stack decks, an essence tab, a remnants tab, and a scarab tab. Notably, we got a lot of Gilded Scales due to Sexton, as well as a bunch of Scares from the explosions and blue goblin conversion.

We got a lot of chaos Orbs, as we ran X Arc and got around 80 sextants. We also dropped one Divine Orb in the entire desk, which seems low, as Metamorph is supposed to drop Divine Orbs frequently. We got one Fraction Orb and five shards, but no full orbs.

In conclusion, running City Square maps with Metamorph and Harbinger sextants is an effective low investment method to farm currency in Path of Exile.
