The Whitestrake's Mayhem is a seasonal event in the Elder Scrolls Online that focuses on PvP gameplay. It takes place in Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City. This event was formerly known as the Midyear Mayhem Event and was renamed in 2022 into Whitestrake's Mayhem Event. When is the Whitestrake's Mayhem Event?

Usually, the Whitestrake's Mayhem is active twice per year, first in spring and then in summer. However, this year the event got delayed and will now be hosted in May and June 2023.

 

Who can participate in Whitestrake's Mayhem Event?

Everyone can participate in Whitestrake's Mayhem Event. You can claim for free the Imperial City DLC in the crown store. Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds are part of the base game. To be able to join the event, you need to be at least level 10 to enter the PvP areas.

 

How to Obtain Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity?

During the Whitestrake's Mayhem, you can activate a 2-hour 100% buff on Alliance Points and Experience gain for PvP Player kills with the Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity. To obtain the Scroll, you need to visit the in-game Crown Store and start the Whitestrake's Mayhem event quest. Next, go to Predicant Maera, who is waiting for you at any Battleground camp or at your Alliance War faction's main gate in Cyrodiil. Speak to Predicant Maera to complete the quest and receive your Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity and a Pelinal's Boon Box.

 

You can keep the Scroll and reuse it to reactivate the buff during the event. If you completed the quest in the past years and still have the Scroll, you can reuse it. If you misplaced the Scroll, don't worry, you can pick up another Scroll from Predicant Maera for 100 ESO gold or 100 Alliance Points.

 

What are the rewards in Whitestrake's Mayhem Event?

During the Whitestrake's Mayhem, you can earn special rewards and collectables. For example, you can unlock Mayhem Victor's Laurel Wreath. To earn this headdress, you must unlock the "Star-Made Knight" achievement by completing each of the seven Whitestrake's Mayhem Event Achievements:

  • Mayhem Connoisseur
  • Echo of Pelinal's Fury
  • Hand of the Whitestrake
  • Wrath of the Whitestrake
  • Pelinavant the Scourge
  • Pelinaline the Bloody
  • Pelinerrif Insurgent

 

During the Whitestrake's Mayhem Event, you can receive Pelinal's boon Boxes plus the regular rewards of the worthy containers. Additionally, you can earn Boon Boxes from repeatable Town, Battle, Bounty, Conquest, Scouting, and Warfront Quests in Cyrodiil. You also earn Boon Boxes by completing Imperial City district repeatable quests as well as the Battlegrounds repeatable quests.

 

Pelinal's Boon Boxes may contain the following items:

  • Tel Var Stones
  • Transmute Crystals
  • Alchemy ingredients
  • PvP consumables like repair kits, forward camps, and siege weapons
  • Ebonheart Pact, Daggerfall, Aldmeri Dominion Style Pages
  • Akaviri Style pages
  • Style items for Alliance and Akaviri Style
  • Coldharbour Siege Weapons
  • Prismatic Runestones
  • Books of Pelinal
  • Housing Items
  • A small chance to receive a style page for the Tools of Domination Weapon Style

 

In addition, you can also earn Gloamsedge Armor Style pages and the House Dufort Banneret Armor Style pages during the event. These pages have a chance to drop from bosses in the Imperial City and the Imperial City Sewers.

 

During the Whitestrake's Mayhem Event, all nodes in Cyrodiil and the Imperial City drop double their regular resources. Also, the special Cyrodiil PvP merchant Adhazabi Aba-Daro, also known as "the Golden," stocks special legendary quality necklaces and rings during the event. You can find the merchant in Cyrodiil at the Western Elsweyr Gate, Northern High Rock Gate, or Southern Morrowind Gate, depending on your alliance.
