Farming Poe Divine Orbs in Crimson Temple Maps Guides

Welcome to a guide on farming the Crimson Temple in Path of Exile. In this guide, we will cover the setup used for farming the Crimson Temple map, which is juiced up with 20 Delirium Orbs. The setup is designed to farm for divination cards, using a Magic Find character with about 50 quantities on normal monsters. The setup includes the use of sextants, scarabs, and modifiers like Beyond and Abyss.

Farming Poe Divine Orbs in Crimson Temple Maps Guides

Sextants

  • The first sextant used in the setup is Enraged, which spawns additional monsters that are harder to kill, but drop more loot.
  • The second sextant is Strongbox Quantity, which increases the quantity of items dropped from Strongboxes.
  • The third sextant is Additional Strongbox, which increases the number of strongboxes that spawn in the map.
  • The final sextant is Abyssal Right, which increases the number of Abyssal Depths that spawn on the map.

Scarabs

We use four different scarabs for this setup.

  • The first is the Gilded Divination Scarab, which increases the chance of getting a divination card drop.
  • The second is the Gilded Ambush Scarab, which increases the number of strongboxes that spawn.
  • The third is the Gilded Abyss Scarab, which increases the number of Abyssal Depths that spawn.
  • The final scarab is the Gilded Reliquary Scarab, which increases the chance of getting a unique item drop.

Modifiers

The two modifiers used in the setup are Beyond and Abyss. Beyond spawns additional monsters that are difficult to kill, but drop more loot. Abyss spawns Abyssal Depths that contain valuable loot and can also drop Abyssal Jewels.

Testing Beyond Monsters

During the setup, We tested whether Beyond Monsters drop divination cards and found that they do. This myth was debunked, and it was confirmed that Beyond Monsters can drop divination cards.

Drop Rewards

In terms of drops, there were several valuable items including a Quickening Covenant Jewel, which sold for 2 divines, and a Badge of the Brotherhood. Tainted currency made up a significant portion of the profit, with 20 bulk tainted currencies dropped.

There were also several scarabs dropped, including gilded and winged scarabs, thanks to the magic find and rarity alters used during the run. However, there were no significant unique item drops, leading to the suggestion that more item rarity may be needed for better unique drops.

The run involved opening several strong boxes, including two strong boxes which cost 14c, an abyss which cost 5c, and a beyond which cost 15c. The most expensive item in the run was the enraged strong box sextant, which took up a large chunk of the expenses. The run 30 Times in Crimson Temple Map cost 33 Poe divines in investment and yielded a total of 73 divines, leaving a profit of 40 divines.

Conclusion

The setup used in farming the Crimson Temple in Path of Exile includes the use of sextants, scarabs, and modifiers like Beyond and Abyss. The setup is designed to farm for divination cards, using a Magic Find character. We also tested whether Beyond Monsters drop divination cards and confirmed that they do. This guide can help you set up a similar farming run in Crimson Temple to get your hands on valuable loot.
