How to Install Vampire: The Masquerade - Informal Patch Bloodlines
If you are a fan of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines from Troika Games, then, most likely, you heard about informal patch . This patch is a community project that was originally intended to correct errors and since then turned into a final mod for the game.
Most fans consider the installation of this patch the only correct way of the game. So how to install this patch if you have already installed a game?
First, it is important to note that you install this patch at your own peril and risk, and any mistakes made cannot be sent to our website. There are different places where you can get this patch, but the one that we will use is in the DB mod.
If you have already installed a game via pairs You will need to install the Patch folder to the Official Steam Folder of the game in your program files . You may also need to create an icon on the desktop for the game, if you want to play it straight from there. Otherwise, you will want to open characteristics and write '-Game unofficial_patch' in Startup options .
After that, you will notice that the patch is installed since the start of the game. The graphics will become clearer, and quests will also be added and the dialog lines that were not in the original version.
