SK C & C Data Center Fire… There is no more than the server room
Fire at Pang yo SK C & C Data Center, which is the cause of Aka's major service failures, is evolving.
The server room and the computer room are not expected to affect future services because of lack of fire.
An official from SK C & C said that it is currently working with firefighting authorities at 3:30 pm today.
The fire occurred in the electric facility located in the basement of the data center. In order to prevent the spread of fires, the building is being cut off and the suppression is underway.
The damage to the fire did not affect the data of the customer because it did not reach the server room and the computer room. If the power is restored after the fire is suppressed, the service will not affect it.
SK C & C Data Center provides Kakao-based services such as KakaoTalk, as well as some Never services and SK affiliates.
An official of SK C & C said, The current flames have been completed, and there is a work to identify the possibility of an additional fire after the residue. If you supply the power afterwards, you will be able to normalize the service. It was said.
