The best League of Legends champions is ignored by Riot until the next patch

The changes that came to League of Legends with the 12.10 update were great magnitude. The so-called LoL durability patch is intended to lessen the situations where players are blown up with no reaction time, increasing the health and resistance of all champions. The first impact of these changes caused Riot Games to apply some adjustments to characters that became too safe in this new context, but some cast members went unnoticed.

Here we list the characters performing above average and have not yet received balance from Riot. In a period when using the best champions tier list is complicated because a lot can still change, this list below can help you to know what is most broken until the next update of LoL.

LoL's strongest champions… until the next patch
Some champions are dangerously close to a 54% win rate, thanks to these exceptional circumstances. In the two weeks left for the next update to be released, an enviable mark could allow those obsessed with ranked a massive increase in League Points, who knows how to climb two or even three divisions. If you'd rather not deal with the choices below, it's a good thermometer than banning.

Champion

win rate

lillia

55.6%

Wukong

53.7%

Veigar

53.4%

Kog'Maw

53.6%

Janna

53.3%

The most prominent case is that of Lillia. While we don't usually single out champions outside of their top position, all rankings count, and it comes in at a 55.6% win rate. This figure is extraordinarily high, making it several percentage points higher than its main competitors. Also, she's not a particularly difficult character, which makes her worth trying to play. Something less innovative is the situation of Wukong (53.7%), who was already in an enviable position before the Riot Games changed.

In the mid lane, Veigar (53.4%) is the most powerful character and seems to have managed to overcome the damage reduction of League of Legends. The reason seems simple: his scaling is so robust that he can easily bypass champions' bonus resistances. In the support position, Janna (53.3%) remains one of the most compelling characters in the game. His shields heal, and movement speed continues to provide crucial perks for the rest of League of Legends ' champions.

Perhaps the champion that draws the most attention, why we left it for last, is Kog'Maw (53.6%). The Void sniper is one of the best characters in the game overall. She even managed to beat Vayne on many stats. Surviving with him is now more accessible. No character does more damage than him in the late game. Also, he has a source of max health damage percentage on his W (Bio-Arcane Barrage). It was predictable that it would be pretty powerful, but the League of Legends development team did not feel it necessary to make any emergency changes.

In case we want to do the opposite exercise to know which characters to avoid, the truth is that things haven't changed much. Ryze (42%), Lee Sin (44%), Zero (45.2%), and Nidalee (45.8%) are statistically the worst League of Legends characters that Riot Games has not applied changes to.
