League of Legends MSI 2022 Schedule, Results, Streaming, and more

The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is finally back in 2022. The first international event of the year will pit the best teams against each other before the highly anticipated Worlds. If you want to know how to watch it, the classified sections, and more, keep reading.

The MSI of League of Legends is almost present, and it is that the first great international event of season 12 will come very loaded.

This time it will take place in Busan, South Korea, where the 11 best teams will fight to lift the trophy. This is the case of G2 Esports and T1, which will represent Europe and Korea, respectively, after several seasons out of the competition. Similarly, RNG will fly the Chinese flag but will play remotely from Shanghai.
With the groups already created, we can finally bring you everything you need to enjoy League of Legends MSI 2022 before it starts on May 10.

MSI schedule, results, and format
MSI 2022 will occur from May 10-29 and consist of a group stage, matchup stage, and a final knockout stage.
The first group stage will take place from May 10 to 15 and will feature two groups of four teams and one group of three. The best of one will be played there, but with a round trip phase with all the group members.
The top two will advance to the clash phase from May 20-24. Unlike the previous one, we will have six teams that will play the best of one with a first leg and a second leg.
Finally, we will directly have the tie from May 27 to 29. We will have four teams with a best of five with immediate elimination in it.

Which teams have qualified?
The MSI 2022 teams bring together 11 teams from across all League of Legends competitions. Only the CIS region will be left without their spot following the cancellation of the LCL Spring Split.
