Fallout 76 With the upcoming patch, Bethesda will be removing legacy weapons from the game. This means that some of the most powerful weapons in the game will no longer be available. To help you prepare for this big update, LOLTANK compiled a list of the best weapons that are likely to remain in the game once the patch goes live.
Handmade Rifle
This weapon is often overlooked by some players, but it is truly a powerful weapon. It can easily tear through enemies with the right perks, cards, and equipment. A Bloodied Handmade Rifle with either Commando or Rifleman cards is an excellent build.
Wattz 3000
This gun has been ripping through enemies since the beta and it is one of the few weapons that Bethesda hasn't nerfed. With the right perks and cards, this gun is capable of taking down any enemy in the game within a few shots.
Fixer
The Fixer is another weapon worth mentioning. This gun used to be very hard to get but now it is much easier to obtain. You can find it as a random drop from the Encrypted event or you can craft your own and add your own attributes to it. Keep an eye out for Quad Fixers with high ammo capacity.
Gatling Gun
The Gatling Gun is also worth mentioning. It is a great weapon for new players and it is easy to get early on. Plus, it has a small glitch that allows you to shoot as fast as you can press the aim button. This glitch has been patched on the PTS but it may or may not be patched in the upcoming patch.
Chainsaw
The Chainsaw is an absolute must-have weapon. It is one of the strongest melee weapons in the game and it is great for the Nuka Kid Games. With the right perks and cards, it can easily tear through enemies.
Railway Rifle
The Railway Rifle is often overlooked but it can be a powerful weapon. Bloodied Railway Rifles are okay but Quad Explosive Railway Rifles can be devastating. The semi-automatic mod shoots too slow for some players but the automatic mod can easily tear through crowds of enemies.
Enclave Plasma Rifle
The Enclave Plasma Rifle with the Flamer mod is also a broken weapon. This gun has a large clip size and it is best obtained from a random event called Dropped Connection. You will need to become a General within the Enclave by completing all their missions to get access to the Flamer mod.
These are just a few of the weapons that are likely to remain in Fallout 76 after the patch. There are many more good weapons out there and it is up to you to find the ones that fit your playstyle best.
